XMReality AB and SOCAPS S.A., a French leader in technical assistance within the Food & Beverage packaging industry, have entered a partnership agreement where SOCAPS will offer Remote Guidance to its customers. SOCAPS serves industrial equipment manufacturers all over the world with design, assembly, installation and maintenance of their equipment. SOCAPS has 800 technicians, is active in 50 countries and has 13 sales offices world-wide

As previously communicated, XMReality currently experiences an increase in use of its Remote Guidance as well as in customer enquiries. The company has a good momentum and has during the first half of 2020 decided to put additional focus on the American market by employing more resources in the US. A Vice President of Sales and a Sales & Marketing Manager have recently been hired to grow business in North and South America. In order to further push this growth, especially in the US, the one person German office in Hamburg will be closed and resources re-allocated

XMReality now offers a freemium version of Remote Guidance which will make it possible for anyone to try out Remote Guidance. This freemium edition, at no cost for the user, will be named ‘Connect’. Connect will complement XMReality’s existing Business and Enterprise offerings and has limited functionality and a limited number of call links that can be shared with a counterpart to start a remote guidance call. During the month of April the use of XMReality Remote Guidance increased with almost 1,000% compared to the same month 2019. In the January-March 2020 Interim Report, an increase of 300% was reported for the quarter and during the month of April these numbers doubled. Compared with January 2020 the increase in use was over 600
