XMReality releases the market’s first full web guide station that supports real time overlay of moving physical objects
Today XMReality released several new product features where the most notable new functionality is a fully web-based solution, i.e. runs in the browser without the need to download any software. The ‘Web Guide Station’ includes support for one of XMReality’s key guiding features; Hands-Overlay, and is the first fully web-based solution with this function in the market.

In 2018 XMReality was first in the market to introduce “web links”, something which enabled a XMReality user to connect with whoever they wanted without that person needing to download the software and getting a user account. Instead, they received a link to their phone through a text message, email or other communication app and could join a Remote Guidance call through their device’s web browser. This possibility opened up completely new use scenarios for the customers and has been a key selling point of the software ever since. Today, XMReality takes the next step in making the solution easy and accessible by launching a fully web supported version. This means that a XMReality user can access the solution by logging in through a web browser, without the need to download and install the application software to their computer. Once logged in they have access to several guiding features, including Hands-Overlay.

Apart from the new ‘Web Guide Station’ the product release includes additional functions to work with user statistics, rating of call quality and some enhancements when using XMReality Remote Guidance with smart glasses.
